Our mission statement: Chanticleer Complete Internet Inc will provide Internet solutions and service for our clients. Through our work, we will honor God and respect the environment. Our purpose is to provide:

Green Hosting : our environmental committment
Chanticleer Complete Internet Inc. supports local electricity generation from clean, renewable sources in order to reduce the coal power emissions that cause smog, acid rain and climate change. Being an environmentally friendly company is not a fad to us. We have advocated Green initiatives since 1997.
Chanticleer was the first hosting company in Ontario to run entirely off of Green power.
In April 2003, Chanticleer Complete Internet paid for the production of 3000 Kilowatt hours of clean wind energy. This purchase meant that both of Chanticleer's offices and all its web servers (including all our client's web sites and emails hosting) were powered by Wind energy for one full year.
In that first year alone, our purchase of wind energy displaced 2670 kg of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas that causes climate change, along with other pollutants.
Today, Chanticleer purchases 730 Kilowatt hours of 100% green electricity every month!
The power is sourced from clean EcoLogo-certified sources including Wind and low-impact Hydro.
Our annual purchase of clean, renewable sources improves our annual emissions footprint by:
- Stopping over 5.55 tonnes of Carbon dioxide from entering our air
- Reducing our pollution by 24.7 kgs of Nitric Oxide
- keeping 5.15 kgs of Sulphur dioxide from getting into our environment each and every year.
Chanticleer's offices and all of our hosting client's Web sites are now 'Powered by Nature'.
Why is using Green Energy important?
Burning coal to produce power is responsible for about 20% of Ontario's source of air pollution, including pollutants that cause smog, acid rain and climate change. The Canadian Medical Association estimates that smog kills 1,900 Ontarians, and costs the economy over $1 billion per year.
Canadian owned and operated:
We, as Canadian business owners, felt there was an unfortunate gap in the Canadian hosting market. We found that most Canadian hosts actually resold hosting space from American companies. And we found that most "Canadian" hosts charge in American dollars. We have filled in that gap by having our servers - which we purchased in Canada - housed in a Canadian Data Centre. And we charge in Canadian dollars.
